National Park Malá Fatra is interwoven with numerous marked hiking trails amidst beautiful nature enjoyed by families with children and by demanding tourists as well. You can choose an easy walk, or a hike along a mountain ridge or a difficult trail with chains and ladders. Picturesque valleys, magnificent views, brooks and waterfalls await you.

Varied flora and fauna will attract your attention, too. Veľký Kriváň (1,709 metres above sea level) is the highest peak. Jánošíkove diery is the most popular place. No-one should miss Veľký Rozsutec and Malý Rozsutec. Veľký Rozsutec is an important peak depicted also in the logo of National Park Malá Fatra.
