Špičák Lookout Tower

This walk to this lookout tower is a little more strenuous, but it will appeal to all who love hiking and a beautiful view. It overlooks Strečno Castle and a beautiful panorama of the serpentine bends of the River Váh in its spreading valley.

Take the main road from Martin to Žilina. Around the halfway point there is a carpark under Strečno Castle. Nearby there is a sign showing the footpath to the lookout tower.
