Straník Lookout Shelter

This viewpoint is fairly easy to access and is an ideal destination for a woodland stroll. Straník is famous not just for its views but also as a venue for paragliders, who have excellent facilities on the hilltop. The view takes in all of Žilina and its surroundings. It is an easy walk from the village of Zástranie.

Visit the village of Zástranie and park by the local church. There is one road that goes uphill past the church and leads, via a series of serpentine bends, to the viewpoint.
